Nourishing Our Bodies Recipe Share – Still We Persist Special

Nourishing our Bodies Recipe Share with Alex and Mia! We go through the process of cooking some of our favorite home-cooked meals, including the following dishes, sides, and drinks:

Gallo Pinto: Rice, beans (pinto, black, kidney beans work), bell pepper, onion

Flour tortilla: 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup water, 1 tsp salt, 3 tbs oil

Agua de jamaica: 2 cups hibiscus flowers, 1/4- 1/2 cup sugar. 2 quarts water

Mock Buñuelos: dash of cinnamon, dash of sugar, plus tortillas recipe
